All About Lily

    Lily was born on April 22th, 2007 and her arrival in our family was rather unexpected. After deciding we were not ready for a dog, I searched the breeder website one night very late, just out of curiousity. There was a tiny kitten that was old enough to go home but had not been adopted. Thinking it was a long shot, I mentioned wanting to get another cat and amazingly, it took no prompting to reach agreement. The next day we drove 8 hours (what were we thinking!) to Marietta to see the kitten. Turns out the kitten on the website wasn't all that interested in us, on the other hand, our little Lily was determined to make us fall in love with her. It took about 30 seconds to decide she was the kitten we wanted. As if to solidify matters in our mind, upon putting her down for just a moment she crawled into my purse as if to say, "I'm coming with you!" She is not quite as big as the other two but has the attitude to more than make up for size. Our cat family is complete!
